Who We Enroll
We enroll young men and women aged 18- to 24-years-old who are seeking support through the various distractions at this time in their lives. In particular, these people may have graduated from Emotional Growth Boarding Schools or long-term care facilities that will no longer accept them due to program completion or age. They are not acting out at present, but are at risk of doing so without the guidance of a transition program.
To assist them in making good decisions, we provide a substance-free, creative, and familial environment away from the negative dynamics they may be facing at home.
These young adults really want to make a difference in themselves and the world. They realize, often reluctantly, that they cannot truly move forward if they return to the same environment they initially left behind. Typically, these young adults are creative seekers who are ready for something challenging and new. They are looking for healthy, “real life” experiences in a world that seems determined to thwart them with the abundant temptations that exist today. They need enough freedom and firm mentorship to practice and integrate the skills they have acquired at their previous schools or programs. They are looking for ventures in peace.
